Trebellious Virtual Showcase for Rochester

Trebellious, a student-run a cappella group from the University of Rochester will be hosting a Virtual Showcase for Rochester on Sunday May 2nd at 5pm, collecting donations for the Rochester Mutual Aid Network. While the pandemic has brought up its own unique challenges for everyone, this showcase aims to bring together the University community to support the greater Rochester community. The event will show off work created amidst the pandemic from not only Trebellious, but also other performance groups such as The Midnight Ramblers A Cappella, Indulgence, Bhangra, Xclusive Step, and many more. The event will be held virtually and is completely free to attend, although donations are encouraged.

Trebellious A Cappella is an all-gender a cappella group with the primary goal of making music accessible to all. While their "teaching group" is audition-based, Trebellious hosts a weekly workshop that is open to all members of the University community regardless of music experience or time commitment. Workshops are a positive and fun space to connect and learn more about music and a cappella and the workshop performs a few songs at the group's semesterly concerts. The teaching group can be found at gigs around Rochester and their most recent EP "Unstoppable" can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube.

If you cannot donate money but would still like to help the Network, please consider Getting Involved by volunteering! You can also submit any items you would like to donate to our database, as we try and source items to fulfill requests directly from the community.

Thank you to everyone who donated to RMAN during the virtual showcase! This donation portal is closed now, but if you'd like to make a donation to RMAN, please visit this page, thank you!
