Free Grocery Pop Up
in Honor of Daniel's Day

On Saturday September 19th, 2026 starting at 4pm, the Rochester Mutual Aid Summit Coalition will be running a free grocery pop up in honor of Daniel's Day. We'll be setting up at Jefferson Terrace Park, at the corner of Dr Samuel McCree Way & Jefferson Ave. We will have shelf-stable kitchen staples as well as fresh produce from our friends at Flower City Pickers and Roc Food Not Bombs. Please come out and join us! Our friends from Community Justice Initiative and Free the People Roc have lots planned for Daniel's Day, and we'll be at the park until we run out of supplies.

If you can help bring people to the pop up, or stop by on behalf of someone else, please consider doing so! Our elderly population is in particular need, it's often hard for them to get to pop ups like this. If you have a friend, family member or neighbor who could use some support, consider inviting them to come with you, or offer to go on their behalf.

Rochester Mutual Aid Network has volunteered to collect monetary donations on behalf of the coalition through this page, simply because it was easiest for us to do so through our website. All money collected through this page will be used for the popup on 9/19!
